Holiday Bazaars Part 4 @ Christkindlmarket

Christkindlmarket Manila, is inspired by the original Christkindlmarket in Nuremberg Germany.  The goal is to feature European traditions and goods to promote awareness and interest among Filipinos.

If you are a lover of anything and everything sweet, Christkindlmarket is the place to be.  For an entrance fee of Php200, you can experience the unique taste of world class products that surely will send you to a different level of sugar high.

Let the pictures speak for themselves.

Stage where they have puppet shows for kids.

I personally was a bit disappointed when my expectations fell short.  Being a celebration of European tradition, I was hoping to see more novelty gift items, home decors or unique toys and trinkets from European countries.  I was also expecting to see and taste more authentic or traditional savory European  dishes.

Don't get me wrong.  If you are looking for high quality sweet edible gift ideas for the Holiday season, you will definitely find it here.

And have your pick of cause oriented proudly Philippine made products.

Overall did the event make me more aware and interested of European Christmas tradition? I'm not quite sure it did though, but I do hope they include more booths and products these coming days which will highlight the main theme of the event.

Event will run from Dec 3 - 9 2012 10am - 10pm @ SM Mall of Asia Ice Skating Rink
